6 Week Beginner Pottery Wheel Course STARTS 22nd March

Runs on Saturday mornings 22nd, 29th March  5th, 12th, 26th April & 3rd May 2025(session is NOT on during Easter Weekend)

Our 6 week Beginner Pottery Wheel Course is a great option for beginners, or those who have previous throwing experience and would like a refresher. In this course you will: practice throwing, turning and shaping pottery; explore various clay bodies; and learn different glazing techniques using ceramic slip and glazes. You will be taught by one of our team and be guided throughout the session.

Come and get involved in your own creations in clay. You don’t have to be arty, just keen to have fun, make a mess and make some new friends. We’ll even throw in a cuppa along the way!

Important information

• This course is for over 16s only
• Each session is two hours and the class will run for six weeks
• No prior experience necessary
• You will need short finger nails to avoid snagging on the clay

• Cancellation or rescheduling with one week prior to the session is feasible and refundable
• Cancellation less than 7 days before the session will not be refunded
• Non-attendance is not refunded and late arrival will not mean extended time at the end
