This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and returns for pottery painting services and products provided by The Potters House Pottery in Muir of Ord, Scotland. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

  1. Refund Policy
  • Faulty or Damaged Items: Pottery painters, or retail purchases: If an item is faulty or damaged, or has glazing faults or imperfections we will offer a refund or replacement. 
  • Pottery making customers should be aware that in certain situations ceramics can crack or explode in the kiln.  This may be due to the thickness and consistency of the made piece.  The Potter’s house will not be responsible nor refund if a fault occurs in this situation, the fault lies with the pottery student at this stage. 
  • Customer Satisfaction: We strive to ensure customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your finished piece, please contact us, and we will work with you to find a solution, whether it be repainting, offering a refund, or allowing you to redo the piece.
  1. Returns Policy
  • Unused Items: Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging with all tags attached to be eligible for return.
  • Return Period: You have 28 days from the date of purchase to return an item.
  • Collection Only: Pottery take-away kits and pickups are collection only from our studio. If you are unable to collect, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.

  2. Liability: The Potters House Pottery is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items once they have left our premises.

Paint Your Own Pottery

With a wide selection of bisque for
you to choose from there is something for everybody. Pottery painting is
suitable for all ages and abilities. Staff are always on hand to offer help and
techniques. We use non-toxic and food safe glazes enabling you to use your
finished piece at home.

Paint your pottery piece, leave it with us to be dipped in clear glaze, then
fired and usually ready for collection in a week.
