6 Week Beginner Pottery Wheel Course Over 16s (Starts February 1st 2024)

Our 6 Week Beginner Pottery Wheel Course is a great option for beginners, or those who have previous throwing experience and would like a refresher. In this course you will: practice throwing, turning and shaping pottery; explore various clay bodies; and learn different glazing techniques using ceramic slip and glazes. You will be taught by one of our team and be guided throughout the session.

Come and get involved in your own creations in clay. You don’t have to be arty, just keen to have fun, make a mess and make some new friends. We’ll even throw in a cuppa along the way!

Important information

• This course is for over 16s only
• Each session is two hours and the class will run for six weeks on 
• 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th February & 7th March 2024
• No prior experience necessary
• You will need a towel, an apron and short finger nails OR you can hire an apron and towel for £5 (items will be clean and freshly laundered for you to use during the session)

• Cancellation or rescheduling with one week prior to the session is feasible and refundable
• Cancellation less than 7 days before the session will not be refunded
• Non-attendance is not refunded and late arrival will not mean extended time at the end
